Meadowlands July 4th Festival

I don't have a lot of pictures here.  I just wanted to show a couple animal shots, of me feeding a camel:

And an emu...

The emu's beak was very large and pain-inducing.  Here's how NOT to feed such a bird.  Try holding your hand as flat as possible, then the bird will deftly peck away and not nip at your skin like it was doing in this picture.

At the end of the festival, I got to take pictures of fireworks with my new camera's "fireworks" mode!  Basically, it just means there's a long exposure time.
